How to make DIY beachy coasters using glass gems and cement

The sound of the surf, the cry of the gulls, the scent of the salty sea — it's no wonder the beach life beckons. Whether you're a surfer or just love wriggling you're toes in the sand, we all know the beach vibe's appeal.
One way to bring a bit of that vibe home is with projects, like the one below. Mona, who packs in a lot of options at her CraftKlatch YouTube channel, presents a gem of an idea that works indoors or outdoors.

To do this project you will need a coaster mold, some cement or concrete, and floral stones. And make sure to be safe and wear gloves and an apron just in case, as Mona does. By the way, we think these coasters would just glow if you add votive candles on top, wax or battery-operated, or maybe try small plants or vases.
