How to fertilize a tomato plant using a whole egg and a banana

This may seem a little strange, but after seeing the end result we're totally sold on this idea! The garden hack, by YouTube user Gary Pilarchik, shows how to fertilize a tomato plant using the seemingly odd materials of a whole banana and an egg. The trick is very cool and requires very little effort. Pilarchik explains the science and it's simple: The egg and banana decompose over time and essentially feed the tomato plant.
