How to make a triple-flip combo faux braid

If you have a little girl in your life with long hair, you may be stumped to come up with new and creative hairstyles to send her off to school with. That's why this tutorial from Cute Girls Hairstyles is so helpful – not only is this triple-flip combo a stunner of a 'do, but it's actually simpler to pull off than you might expect!
And as if this hair tutorial wasn't great enough, the family behind it has an equally-as-awesome story.

On her website, Mindy McKnight explains how her hairstyling prowess arose from having four daughters, all of whom loved selecting their daily 'dos from a book of hairstyles she had lying around the house. Eventually, McKnight "decided to record the hairstyles in a blog format" so that she "had something 'permanent' to reference.'"
Now? McKnight proudly explains that Cute Girls Hairstyles has become "a hairstyle reference for hundreds of thousands of moms and girls all over the world!"
However, hairstyles aren't the only thing McKnight is passionate about: she and her husband have also adopted two children in addition to their four biological daughters. McKnight explains on her website how much this cause means to her, describing how she and her husband have even "assisted several families to be more open to it… even helping place several beautiful babies into wonderful adoptive homes."
Talk about a family with good (well-styled) heads on their shoulders.
