How to crochet the mini flower stitch (written pattern and instructions)

The mini flower stitch creates a beautiful chain of flowers, each one with a beaded centre, which would make a stunning trim for a special dress, a pretty bracelet or choker, or could be used for curtain tie-backs or as an edging for pillows.
Although not a complicated stitch, the mini flower does require some patience to thread the beads and you will have to ensure that your crochet hook is thin enough to go through the hole in the centre of each bead in order to secure it into position.

Materials
For the mini flower stitch, you will require a lace or super-fine weight crochet yarn. A yarn with a sheen to it can look especially effective. You will also need some decorative beads with a hole in the centre which is large enough for a crochet needle to go through. You can source beads from online suppliers. For a lace or super-fine yarn you would usually use a 1.5 to 2.25 mm hook, but do check your manufacturer's band for suggestions. You will also need a pair of scissors and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
