This transformation quite literally makes the world a more beautiful place. After cutting the top off of your plastic bottle, you'll coat your favorite fabric choice with mod podge to create an attractive covering. Just Interior Design recommends adding embellishments like jewels or ball fringe. Add some soil and flowers for the perfect porch decor.

This idea is perfect if you want to grow herbs or flowers but you don't have a lot of space! Use old plastic bottles to grow your garden along the wall. You'll need a bit of patience and lots of pink paint to tackle this adorable project! But, when you're finished, that clear plastic 2-liter bottle will make a rather convincing piggy bank! This sweet project from Spoonful is sure to make you squeal in delight every time you drop in your change.

Pull double duty with your recycling responsibilities with this creative project. You'll use a large plastic bottle, plastic spoons, and an old lamp to create the ultimate conversation piece for your room. Turn an old two-liter (or even smaller) plastic bottle into adorable fashion accessories on a dime! Charisa Darling's pattern calls for 1-inch wide by 5-inch long strips for kid-sized bracelets. You can shrink the bracelet by wrapping it in a rubber band and allowing it to warm in the sun.
