8+ amazing ways buttons can change the way you craft

I always loved going through boxes of old buttons when I was a child, and they haven't lose their appeal as I've gotten older! In fact, they're even more fun now that I know how many awesome crafts I can make with them.
My favorite thing about buttons is the fact that they come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. With a little bit of imagination, a handful of buttons can be transformed into almost anything!

I would have never thought of using buttons in place of tree leaves, but it works perfectly! Now that I'm thinking about it, they could also be used to make pictures of flowers, geometric shapes, or maybe even animals. How fun is that?

I don't know about you, but I never seem to have enough magnets! These button magnets are so cute, and they're unbelievably easy to make. They'd also make a great gift!

Pretty gift bags are always so expensive, but they don't have to be if you make your own! These are made with nothing but yarn, hot glue, and buttons, and the possibilities for different shapes are almost endless.

These little button bookmarks are so easy to make, but I think they're one of my favorite projects on this list! Even if you don't use bookmarks often, they're a fun alternative to regular paperclips. In fact, I think I need to go glue buttons to all of my paperclips right now!
