As much as we all love new products and beauty shopping, we also enjoy getting a good deal and making our makeup go farther. And, sometimes, the best product is one we already own.
You can turn just about any product into a 2-for-1 and stretch your beauty dollar. Check out these nine tips. You'll probably discover a few gems worth sharing with your fellow makeup addicts.

1. Amplify your glow
Why buy a brightening undereye concealer when you can make your own? Just mix a liquid highlighter with your concealer to make your undereye area look more alert. Tip: Go easy with this one by using a 2 to 1 ratio.

2. Don't waste a drop
It's difficult to tell when there's product left in a tube, but we all suspect there's more. We just can't get to it...until now. Pick up a few plastic tube squeezers (the kind meant for toothpaste) and use them to get the most out of your BB cream or concealer tubes.

3. Make your own lip compacts
Need to tote two lip colors in your makeup bag without the bulk? No problem! Transfer your favorite lippies, moisturizer, or foundation into a dual compartment contact lens case.

4. Create your own gel liner
Okay, so technically it isn't gel, but you can create a bold line by heating your kohl liner for one second (no longer!) with a lighter. Let it cool down 15-20 seconds, then test it on the back of your hand. Tip: Roll it back and forth to maintain the point and then line your eyes.

5. Set undereye concealer without powder
If your undereye area looks a little worse for wear thanks to your setting powder, ditch it. Simply spritz a makeup sponge with setting spray and dab lightly over your concealer. You won't need powder, and the setting spray will keep creasing to a minimum.
6. Swap eye shadow for brow powder
With the nude eye trend in full swing, your makeup bag has an all purpose product that can contour, shadow, and define your brows. Simply choose the color closest to your natural brow shade and fill your brows in with an angled brush. Tip: For more definition, try using it wet.

7. Make your own highlighter
Highlighter envy is real, so what if you're out or want a customized shade? Grab one of your favorite shimmery eye shadows and combine it with your favorite face lotion. Instant shimmer in your very own shade.
8. Turn your shimmery eye shadow into liquid liner
Make your makeup do double duty by turning your favorite eye shadow into a liquid liner. Just mix a few drops of Inglot Duraline with your sexiest shimmer or loose pigment and line away.
9. Repurpose your mascara wands
You can never have enough spoolies or grooming wands, so thoroughly clean your mascara wand once the tube is empty, and you'll have an extra for grooming your brows or separating lashes. Cost: $0
