This wine cork wreath DIY adds flair to any wall or door

Wreaths may make you think of Christmas decorations, but they are actually appropriate for any time of year. Whether they incorporate flowers for the spring, pretty greenery for the summer or leaves for the fall, wreaths can be altered to work all year round.

This time you can skip the natural look and opt for something that works for every season: wine corks. If you love wine, then this DIY project is a way to show off that love and add a pretty piece of decor to your home. Check out the instructions and video to get started on this cute DIY craft.

Materials
- Cardboard
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Utility knife
- Wine corks
- Ribbon in two colors
- Hot glue gun
- Twine

Instructions
1. Draw a heart onto a piece of cardboard with a pencil. Cut out the heart with scissors.

2. Draw a smaller heart within the cardboard heart and cut it out with a utility knife.

3. Wrap ribbon around the middle of two-thirds of the wine corks. Secure the ribbon with a small amount of hot glue.

4. Repeat step 3, this time using a different color of ribbon on the remaining wine corks.

5. Attach the corks with the first color of ribbon onto the cardboard heart with hot glue.

6. Glue on the corks with the other colored ribbon on top of the corks already in place.

7. Cut off a section of twine and tie it around the top of the heart, creating a loop. This will serve as a hanger for the wreath.
