How to make a sand photo frame

If you want to preserve your favorite summer beach memories, there's no better way to do it than with a cute sand photo frame. This is my favorite kind of DIY project: It's really easy to make, and the results are awesome.
You get bonus points if you can use sand and shells from your last vacation, but the frame will still turn out beautifully if you don't. Watch the video and check out the instructions to learn how it's done.

Instructions
1. Remove the glass from the photo frame and set it aside.
2. Paint the entire edge of the photo frame with the metallic paint and allow it to dry.
3. Working in chunks, hot glue the beads in a line along the middle of the frame's top and bottom edges.
4. Cut two pieces of rope to be just slightly longer than the remaining edges of the frame, and tie a knot at both ends of each piece.
5. Carefully hot glue one rope piece onto either side of the frame.
6. Tuck your favorite beach photo into the frame, sprinkle some sand onto the bottom and decorate with a few shells.
