Materials
- Mixing bowl
- Decor sand
- White glue
- Popsicle stick
- Bowl for mold
- Plastic wrap
- Scissors
- Gold acrylic paint
- Paintbrush
Instructions
1. Pour decor sand into a mixing bowl and add some white glue.
2. Stir until well combined, adding more glue if necessary. The mixture should be easily spreadable but not too runny.
3. Place a second bowl upside down and cover the bottom with two layers of plastic wrap.
4. Dump the sand mixture out onto the bottom of the bowl, using the popsicle stick to smooth it out and make sure there are no holes. Cover as much of the bowl as you can.
5. Once the sand has hardened, carefully remove the bowl under it.
6. Cut off any extra pieces of hardened sand at the top and peel away the plastic wrap.
7. Flip the new bowl upside down and place dots of paint all the way around the bottom so they dribble down to form a unique pattern. Set aside to dry.
