How to make cookie cutter bird feeders

Materials
- Mixing bowl
- All-purpose flour
- Bird seed
- Light corn syrup
- Tablespoon measure
- Craft stick
- Baking tray covered with tinfoil
- Cookie cutters
- Plastic straw
- Scissors
- Twine
- Wooden skewers
Instructions
1. Place a small amount of all-purpose flour into the mixing bowl. Add about two cups of bird seed and three tablespoons of light corn syrup, and stir until completely combined.
2. Line a baking tray with tinfoil and place the cookie cutters on it.
3. Snip the plastic straw into pieces about twice as long as the cookie cutters are deep.
4. Pack the bird seed mixture into each cookie cutter, and insert a piece of the straw into each one near the top.
5. When the bird feeders have hardened, remove the straws and the cookie cutters.
6. Loops a piece of twine through each hole and tie a knot at the top.
7. Carefully insert a short wooden skewer at the bottom of the shape to add a perch on each side for the birds.
