Materials
- Terracotta pot
- Small container
- Blue chalk paint
- 2 paintbrushes
- Terracotta saucer
- Floral printed napkins
- Decoupage medium
- Scissors
Instructions
1. Pour blue chalk paint into a small container and paint both the terracotta pot and saucer. Allow the paint to dry.
2. Peel apart the floral napkins so the layers are separated.
3. Paint decoupage medium over a section of the pot and press the napkin onto that section, smoothing out any lumps. The printed side of the napkin should face outward.
4. Repeat step 3 until the entire pot is covered by napkins. Cut away any excess napkin.
5. Paint decoupage medium over top of the napkin to seal all the edges down, including along the pot's opening. Cut away any excess napkin from the opening.
6. Allow the pot to dry completely before adding soil and a plant.
