Pour cement into mold for a chic DIY that's a breeze to make

If you love incorporating bits of industrial design into your home decor, you need a set of these concrete coasters. They're so much nicer than most of the coasters you see in the store, and they cost very little to make.

Materials
- Mixing bowl
- Measuring cup
- Cement mix
- Water
- Spoon or stir stick
- Circular silicon mold
- Metallic spray paint
- Thin dowel
- Sanding block
Instructions
1. Measure out cement mix into a bowl and combine with water per the manufacturer's instructions. Stir until the mixture is completely smooth, adding more water as necessary.
2. Pour the mixture into the silicon molds, filling them almost to the top. Gently shake the mold to flatten out the mixture.
3. Spray a bit of metallic spray paint onto the top of each coaster. Use a thin dowel to swirl the paint around.
4. When the concrete has dried, gently pop the coasters out of the molds.
5. Sand off any rough edges.
