How to make a chalkboard out of a photo frame

If you have a photo frame you love but you can't seem to find a photo that matches it, why not take that frame and turn it into a cute little chalkboard instead? It's such an easy way to make a pretty – and useful – piece of decor for your home.

Materials
- Photo frame
- Piece of cardboard
- Chalkboard paint
- Paintbrush
- Chalk

Instructions
1. Remove the glass and the backing from the photo frame and set them aside.

2. Place the glass on a piece of cardboard to protect the work surface and coat it with chalkboard paint.

3. Once the paint has dried, use a piece of chalk to write a word or a phrase on the board.

4. Put the painted glass and the backing back into the frame, and display the new chalkboard somewhere it'll make you smile.
