How to make feather string art

String art puts a unique spin on typical wall art. Rather than being flat like a painting or a print, string art provides a space with a 3-dimensional piece of decor. Although string art can be made into any shape, this DIY project uses a feather shape, creating a fun and whimsical look.
By using embroidery floss in all cool tones, the piece is given an ombre-like look. However, if the cool tones of blue and purple are not your style, pinks and reds are another option. After deciding on colors, check out the video and instructions to see how you can make this simple feather string art.
