How to make a mason jar toothbrush holder

Where do you keep your toothbrush right now? If you don't already have a toothbrush holder, you should make one. If you already have one, swap it out with a new one that has shabby chic charm.
This DIY project only requires a couple minutes to make, and it will give your bathroom an instant upgrade. Check out the video tutorial and the instructions below to learn how to make one for yourself.

Materials
- Mason jar with lid
- Chalk paint
- Paintbrush
- Chicken wire
- Wire cutters
- Hot-glue gun
- Lace ribbon
- Scissors
Instructions
1. Remove the lid and band from the mason jar and cover the outside of the jar with a coat of chalk paint. There is no need to paint the ridges of the jar where the lid screws on.
2. Cut a piece of chicken wire the same size as the jar band using wire cutters.
3. Hot glue the chicken wire inside the jar band. Make sure the hot glue is set before screwing the band onto the jar.
4. Glue a piece of lace ribbon around the outside edge of the band and screw the band on top of the jar.
