Instructions
1. Open the terrarium so that you are working with just the wooden base.
2. Apply hot glue to the wooden base, just near the edge.
3. Spread shredded paper (or alternative material) onto the hot glue on the base. Glue the shredded paper down in a circle, leaving a hole in the center. You're creating a nest; the succulent plant will go in the open center. Set this aside to dry.
4. Use an Exacto knife to slice off the head of the skull. You should slice horizontally, just above the eyes. Apply hot glue to the base of the skull, then place it in the "donut hole" at the center of the terrarium base.
5. Next you will craft the graveyard headstone. Remove adhesive backing from white contact paper, and apply the paper to the cardboard. Cut the paper around the cardboard so that no edges are hanging off.
6. Use a Sharpie to draw the shape of a headstone, which is flat on the bottom with an elongated semi-circle above it. Use scissors to cut out the shape. Write "R.I.P." at the top of the headstone. Apply hot glue to the base of the headstone, then place it in the shredded paper. It should be placed behind and slightly to the left of the skull.
7. Apply hot glue to the bottom of the toy spider's body. Glue this to the shredded paper, placing it in front of and slightly to the right of the skull. Lift one leg of the spider, apply hot glue to the bottom of it, and adhere the leg to the skull.
8. Remove the succulent from its pot. Place it inside the open head of the skull. You may need to pinch closed the sides of the skull to secure the plant in place.
