Instructions
1. Carefully tear out one or more pages of one or two books. Smaller pages result in smaller paper ornaments.
2. Fold each page in half vertically.
3. Cut the page in half along the vertical line.
4. At the bottom of each half, fold the page accordian-style with a height of 1/2 inch. Fold up 1/2 inch, flip over the page, fold up 1/2 inch, flip over the page, fold up, etc. Repeat the pattern until you reach the end of the page.
5. Hold the folded page together so the paper ornament does not bounce open.
6. Tie a piece of string around the middle of the compressed page so it stays closed and open up both sides up like a fan.
7. Glue the top flat sides together, and glue the bottom flat sides together so it forms a "flower" shape.
8. Set aside the paper decorations.
9. Glue one end of the burlap ribbon to the craft ring.
10. Wrap the burlap around the ring, making sure to apply glue to the ring before each wrap and slightly overlapping the ribbon.
11. Cut the ribbon after you have completely covered the ring.
12. Apply glue on the wreath's burlap where you want to place the paper flowers. Put the flowers anywhere you like. If you want to hang the wreath, do not glue decorations to the top of the wreath.
13. Cut off approximately 1-1/2 feet of twine.
14. Tie the ends of the twine in two spots at an equal distance from the center of the wreath's top to create a loop for hanging.
