How to make carnival-inspired photo booth sticks

Step into any photo booth and instantly make a magical image with carnival-inspired photo booth sticks. They're such a small, affordable project, but they pack a big punch when it comes to adding humor and fun to any event where there's a photo booth.
Of course, you can use these for any photo, even if no booth is available. Selfies created using the mustache prop shown here are instant hits on social media. It takes only minutes to make, so you can craft one for everyone attending the event. Use varying colors of felt to create different mustache looks. Peruse mustache shapes to get ideas for thin, bushy and stylized photo props.

Instructions
1. Lay felt out flat. Use the permanent marker to draw half of the mustache. The easiest design to begin with is the shape of a comma. (To get the right size, measure the point between the center of your nose and the outer edge of your cheek; the comma should be this long. Measure the gap between the bottom of your nose and the top of your lips; the comma should never be wider than this gap.)
2. Fold the felt at the end of the mustache half that would be at the center of your face. For example, with the comma shape, the "top" of the comma is the center of the mustache, so you would fold the felt along the top of the comma.
3. Cut out the shape that you drew with the marker. Because you have folded the felt in half, you will be cutting out a double-thick mustache.
4. Open the piece of felt you have cut out. It should now be a complete mustache. The comma design makes a mustache that fits nicely right under your nose, with handlebars curving up toward the outside.
5. Use the hot glue gun to apply a dot of glue to one side on the back of the mustache.
6. Press the straw or stick to the glue and hold until it adheres. You will hold this stick to place the mustache on your face for photos.
