Collect 3 or 4 bobby pins and some hot glue & mimic this DIY

To instantly add personality to any outfit, don’t underestimate the power of a well-placed bobby pin. A color-packed pin highlights your hair and keeps you on-theme for every holiday. Plus, it’s possible to make a one-of-a-kind pin in two steps or less using supplies that might already be in your craft closet. Make red, white and blue bobby pins for the 4th of July or look high-style for Halloween with orange and black bobby pins.
There are two methods for making these colorful bobby pins depending on the materials you have at hand. To make bobby pins with clear hot glue, first, prime the pins with a coat of colorful spray paint. Another option is to skip the paint and use colored hot glue sticks, which offer a more intense hue for half the effort. No matter which method you choose, the finished product will perfectly accent your tresses for the upcoming occasion.
