How to make a DIY photo canvas

Texture adds a depth to just about everything, from food and drink, to poems, plays, music and film. No wonder then that canvas photo prints are catching on. The key blemish? They aren't exactly cheap when contracted out by a professional.
However, Tasha from Designer Trapped In A Lawyer's Body has just the DIY to try at home to offset those costs.
Her tutorial requires blank canvases (which are cheaper in bulk), enlarged photos, Mod Podge Matte Finish, foam brushes, black paint, utility knife, and a cutting board.
Tasha explains that once you pick a canvas and photo to work with that match up in size, you should cover the canvas with Mod Podge and use your hands to carefully press on the image so it seals.
Next? Apply a layer of Mod Podge on top of the photo before sandwiching a second canvas on top. Tasha instructs to "peel the blank canvas off and you will be left with that authentic canvas texture."
But don't stop there. Why not try imprinting on wood? These creations seem to work well with rustic scenes, or maybe photos of relatives from the family farm. Heck, got a favorite quote from a good but dilapidated book? Maybe there's an album sleeve you just need to salvage.
Or perhaps you want a memento of a fab vacation with a certain someone. This

And don't forget to share this project if it struck a chord!
