How to transfer an image onto a terracotta flower pot

Terracotta, whose name comes from the Italian term for "baked earth," is a clay-based earthenware that's perfect for potted plants -- and crafting! The porous clay is ideal for working with various media; all it takes is creativity to decorate them to reflect personal attitude and style.

To do this DIY, you will need a terracotta pot that has been aged (or painted a soft white), Mod Podge, and a printout of the graphic that you want to use. Make sure that the graphic is printed in mirror image, so that the transfer isn't backward!
To transfer the image, paint the printed side of the graphic with Mod Podge, then stick it into place. After it dries, remove the paper with small amounts of water and gentle rubbing.
