Learn how to make this stylish, rustic-chic bathroom storage

If you're hard pressed for storage space in your home or apartment, it's time to get creative in order to solve the problem. If you're without an attic, basement, or shed, you know that it can be tough to find a place for all your belongings. This is especially true in the bathroom, as it's typically a small room that can get cluttered quickly.
Thanks to the folks at PaintyCloud, we have a solution to share for those of you who yearn for a bit more organization in the bathroom. The basis for this project is pallet slats, which you can pick up at any local hardware store. This DIY project is sure to bring a bit of style to the restroom as well.

To start, you want to disassemble the pallets (of which you'll need four).
Now you're going to put together the sides of your new storage container. Lay down two strips vertically and then add horizontal slats, keeping some space between each one. For guidance, look at the photos below.
You know what they say: measure twice and cut once.
Now, it's time to get started on the front of the storage box.
In similar fashion to constructing the sides, lay down your vertical strips and then your horizontal ones. Cut the piece in half so you have a doorway of sorts (see the diagram above).
The bottom piece is made up of five slats.
Once you have all the elements, it's time to paint!
And now you can assemble the storage box, like so.
Below, check out the finished product. It's the perfect place for extra toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner, or whatever you so choose.
