Do you have an old dresser that’s seen better days? Ever peruse yard sales and see random drawers just sitting there? Did you ever imagine what you could do with them?
If you’re crafty enough, there are tons of great ways to reuse an old drawer to create super-functional and stylish decor for your home.

1) Pillow Box
Those fancy pillows are not to be used for anything but making your sofa or bed look pretty. Right?
When company comes over, it’s nice to have a place to toss them. Claire over at Rustic Pig can help you out.
2) Just the Front
Grace over at Design Sponge came up with a really unique way to reuse old drawer fronts. This idea works even for those unfortunate old drawers that have unsalvageable boxes. Spruce them up with paint, add some knobs, and you have yourself some unique hangers!
3) Upside-Down Decor
Becky from Beyond the Picket Fence had a supercool idea to create actual shelf cabinets using her old drawers. If you can find one big enough, add a few dividers inside and then flip it on its side. Voilà—instant shelving cabinet! Perfect for a hallway, porch or bathroom.
4) Underneath It All
DIY Everywhere
If you find yourself needing that extra bit of storage in your bedroom but simply have nowhere to stick a new dresser, consider the space under your bed. Paint a few shallow drawers and add castors to the bottom to create the perfect under-bed rollout storage. Get the full tutorial here.
5) Unique Wall Shelves
What a cool way to reuse old drawers! Salvaged Whismy is full of ideas like this. I especially love the addition of the silhouettes. It adds even more character to this already awesome DIY project.
6) Sweet Ottoman Tray
This is so sweet and easy to do. You don’t have to reconstruct the drawer—just clean it up, add a nice coat of your favorite color, and you have yourself a gorgeous little vintage ottoman tray. Shawna from A Very Dandoislion Life has a full tutorial.
7) A Quaint Ottoman
