Materials
To achieve a look like the ones in the Very Pink Knits' video, you'll need bulky yarn and 10.5 US (6.5mm) needles.
Abbreviations
P Purl
K Knit
Pattern one
This method is four stitches plus two stitch selvage. It goes as follows:
Row 1: P2, *K1 through back loop of the second stitch, then K1 through the first stitch and slip both stitches off, P2; repeat from * to end.
Row 2: K2, *with the yarn in front, P1 through the second stitch, then P1 through the first stitch and slip both stitches off, K2; repeat from * to end.
Repeat this pattern until your garment reaches the desired length.
Pattern two
This method is done in multiples of three stitches plus one additional stitch. It goes as follows:
Row 1: P1, *K1 through back loop of second stitch, leaving the stitch worked on the left needle, then K1 through first stitch normally, slipping both worked stitches off the left needle, P1; repeat from * to end.
Row 2: K1, *with the yarn in front, P1 through the second stitch leaving the worked stitch on the left needle, then P1 through the first stitch normally and slip both stitches off, K1; repeat from * to end.
Repeat the steps until your garment reaches the desired length.
