Collect some sticks and copy these 11 fab DIY ideas

Trees and branches look great outside in their natural habitat, but they can look even better inside your home once you've transformed them into something crafty!
Forget about houseplants – these DIYs look even better and they don't require constant care and attention. The next time you're out for a walk, keep your eye out for some sticks you can use to work your DIY magic!
1. Twig lamp shade (h/t The Shabby Creek Cottage)
Do you have an old lamp lying around that needs an upgrade? You should make it a new lampshade out of twigs! You'll need some patience, but as long as you have an old lamp and a hot glue gun, this project won't cost a cent to make.
2. Twig & pom pom wreath (h/t A Beautiful Mess)
This is one of the simplest DIY projects you could do, but it makes such a big impact! In fact, it would make a great decorative piece on your door.
3. Simple wall art (h/t Cleverly Inspired)
Who says wall art has to be expensive or hard to make? This clever piece of stick wall art is neither! Wouldn't it look pretty lit up with an electric candle at night?
4. Twinkly room divider (h/t Mark Montano)
If you love the idea of framed sticks but are interested in making something even bigger, this project delivers! It doesn't offer the same privacy as traditional room dividers, but it's a gorgeous way to divide up your space.
5. Twig side table (h/t Style Files)
This twig side table is a bit of an optical illusion... it's not made entirely out of sticks, but rather out of sticks and wood slices glued to a sturdy table! You don't need any woodworking skills at all to pull this project off, and your friends won't be able to believe that you made it yourself.
6. Natural headboard
A nice headboard can really bring a room together, and this is one of the most unique headboards I've ever seen! You'll feel like you're sleeping in the middle of the forest if you have this right above your head.
7. Rustic flower vase (h/t Nini Makes)
This rustic vase would make such a great centerpiece no matter what the time of year! The daisies are perfect for spring, but for winter, it would look amazing filled with an arrangement of evergreen branches and red berries.
8. Twig letters (h/t The Happy Housie)
You can never go wrong with a monogram! This one is so easy to make – you could even get your kids to help out. It would be a great wedding gift for your favorite newlyweds!
9. Picture frame (h/t Creative Homemaking)
Your favorite photos would look so much better if they were displayed in this awesome stick frame! I love the glitter effect, but you could also leave the sticks bare if you want a more natural look.
10. Twig photo stand
Love taking tiny Polaroids but have no way to display them? These photo stands made of branches come together quickly and inexpensively to bring more rustic appeal into your home. Top a dresser or a sideboard with a few stands. Get the full tutorial here.
