Turn a pair of crates into a stylish ottoman

If you need a place both to put your feet up and store a blanket or two, then you should consider making your very own ottoman. It sounds like a tough job, but it's actually quite easy.
If you don't believe it, just follow these instructions, and then give the video a watch to see an amazing transformation.

Materials
- Two wood crates
- Painters tape
- Sander
- Drill
- 3/4-inch plywood
- Fabric
- Foam
- Clamp
- Stapler

Instructions
1. Take two crates and use a power sander to sand all surfaces. Repeat sanding process on the 3/4-inch plywood.
2. Using white paint, paint the two crates and the piece of plywood. Allow paint to fully dry.
3. Lay out your piece of fabric with the unfinished side facing up. Next, lay down the foam, and then your piece of plywood.
4. Take all four corners of the fabric, lift them up over onto the plywood and staple. Staple the fabric all around the plywood.
5. Stack the two crates on top of each other, making sure the openings are facing the same way. Use your drill to attach the two crates together.

6. Place your padded cover over the top, and style your ottoman to suit your space.
