Materials
- Canvas
- Several colors of alcohol ink
- Sponge paintbrush
- Small dish of water
- Gold foil
- Modge Podge
Instructions
1. Apply the first color of alcohol ink directly to the sponge paintbrush and paint a small section in the upper left-hand corner of the canvas.
2. Apply a second color to the paintbrush and paint a small section directly under the first, covering that section of canvas from one side to the other.
3. Repeat this process until the entire canvas is covered, alternating and adding colors as you see fit. Add extra dots of color here and there, and experiment with adding water to blend the colors and make them more translucent.
4. Rip off small pieces of gold foil and use Mod Podge to apply them to different spots on the painting.
5. Let the painting dry before displaying it.
