Materials
- Neckties with various patterns
- Fabric measuring tape
- Scissors
- Sewing pins
- Sewing machine
- Zipper
Instructions
1. Measure 17 inches from the point of the tie along the length of the tie. At the 17-inch mark, cut off the remaining fabric.
2. Repeat Step 1 for as many neckties needed to make up the body of the skirt.
3. Arrange all the neckties so that they are right side up and side by side.
4. Measure across the neckties and cut a tie to that length. Place it horizontally along the top edge of all the neckties and pin it into place with sewing pins.
5. Sew the tie to the ties of the skirt.
6. Sew the ties of the skirt to each other so they create one piece of fabric.
7. Pin the zipper to the last neckties on each end. This will bring the neckties into a circular piece of fabric, forming the skirt.
