How to make a rock tic tac toe game

In a world of apps, cell phones, and constantly being "plugged in," sometimes you have to just go back to the classics. Tic tac toe is a perfect game to play when you have some time to kill, such as during a long car rides with kids.

Materials
- Outdoor placemat
- Scissors
-Black paint
- Paintbrushes
- Liquid metal
- 10 small rocks
- Gold glitter glue
- White puffy paint
Instructions
1. Cut the placemat into quarters. One of the quarters will serve as the tic tac toe board.
2. Paint a tic tac toe grid onto the placemat with black paint.
3. For the tic tac toe game pieces, paint liquid metal onto one side of each rock. Allow it to dry.
4. Paint on a second coat. Allow it to dry as well.
5. Add dots of gold glitter glue to the outline of liquid metal paint.

6. Draw x's and o's onto the rocks with white puffy paint on top of the liquid metal paint.
