How to make a fancy storage box out of an old drawer

Do you love upcycling projects? If the answer is yes, you're definitely going to want to make this fancy storage box. It's surprisingly easy to create, and you can personalize it with your favorite beautiful paper.

- Old drawer
- Screwdriver
- Sanding block
- Cloth
- White paint
- Large paintbrush
- Metallic espresso acrylic paint
- Small paintbrush
- Mod Podge
- Patterned cardstock or paper
- Hobby knife
- Screws
- Four hairpin legs
- Pencil
- Electric drill

Instructions
1. Use a screwdriver to remove the hardware from the drawer and set aside the hardware to reattach later.
2. Smooth out any jagged wooden bits with a sanding block, and wipe off the front of the drawer with a cloth.
3. Completely coat the drawer in white paint and let dry.
4. Paint the trim with the metallic paint and the small paintbrush.
5. Decorate the inside of the drawer by decoupaging it with the Mod Podge and cardstock or paper.
6. Cut small holes in the paper with a hobby knife where the screws will be reattached.
7. Put the hardware back on the drawer, attaching it with screws.
8. Flip over the drawer and put a hairpin leg on each corner of the drawer. Mark the screw holes with a pencil.

9. Attach a hairpin leg to each corner of the drawer using the electric drill and screws.
