How to make a shelf from an old drawer

Materials
- Old drawer
- Screwdriver
- Painter's tape
- Black chalkboard paint
- Paintbrushes
- Red chalk paint
- Metallic gold acrylic paint
- Sawtooth picture hanger
- Drill
- Screws

Instructions
1. Unscrew the knobs of the drawer with a screwdriver. Set the screws aside.
2. Tape off the sides of the inside of the drawer with painter's tape so the bottom can be painted.
3. Paint the bottom of the inside of the drawer with black chalkboard paint.
4. Once the chalkboard paint is dry, remove the painter's tape.
5. Paint the front of the drawer with red chalk paint and let dry.
6. Paint the drawer knobs with the metallic gold paint. Allow the paint to dry.
7. Screw the knobs back into the front of the drawer with the screws you set aside.
8. Flip over the drawer and, using painter's tape, tape the sawtooth hangers into place.
9. Screw the sawtooth hangers into place with the drill. Once secured, remove the painter's tape.
