How to make seashell votive holders

Candles do more than just decorate a room. They also add a calm and relaxing feel. Paired with decorated votives, candles can really influence the feel of a space.

Materials
- Small mason jar
- Painter's tape
- Metallic silver acrylic paint
- Paintbrush
- Seashells
- Hot glue gun
- Small gray beads
- Tweezers
- Small rocks
- Votive candle

Instructions
1. Add painter's tape around the mason jar, about an inch and-a-half from the bottom.

2. Paint the bottom portion of the mason jar with the silver acrylic paint. Allow the paint to dry.

3. Remove the painter's tape from the jar.

4. Using the hot glue gun, glue the seashells onto the jar.

5. Add hot glue in between the seashells and press the small gray beads into the hot glue. Use the tweezers to help position the beads to exactly where you want them.

6. Add the rocks to the inside of the jar.

7. Place the candle on top of the rocks inside the jar.
