How to make an ombre sand terrarium

Terrariums, both real or faux, are very on trend and surprisingly easy to make. Made to mimic a garden, terrariums are usually made with dirt and rocks. This terrarium, however, mixes things up and puts a beach twist on this trendy piece of decor.
Almost like a miniature beach, this little terrarium is sure to bring relaxing vibes to your space. And it requires no maintenance because it calls for faux plants. Materials
- Yellow sand
- Purple sand
- Pink sand
- Small bowls
- Craft stick
- Terrarium jar
- Twine
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Small seashells
- Faux succulents
- Plastic starfish
Instructions
1. Place the yellow, purple and pink sand in separate bowls. Mix a small amount of pink sand into both the yellow and purple sand. Stir with a craft stick.
2. Cut off a section of twine. Wrap it around the stem of the terrarium jar, securing it with hot glue.
3. Apply a drop of hot glue to the top of the twine and press a seashell into the glue. Allow the hot glue to harden.
4. Add the colored sand to the terrarium jar in layers. Begin with the purple sand, continue with the pink sand and lastly add the yellow sand.

5. Put the faux succulents, seashells and starfish in the terrarium.
