Make a wreath from flip-flops with ease

Brightly colored and great for the hot weather, flip-flops make people think of summertime. These simple sandals are good for more than just wearing, though. As the official shoes of the warmer months, flip-flops are the ideal centerpiece for this summer-inspired DIY.
Paired with some colorful faux flowers, this wreath is sure to bring a bit of the summer indoors. Check out the instructions and video if you want to see how you can make this wreath.

Materials
- 3 pairs of flip-flops
- Floral wire
- Wire cutters
- Faux flowers
- Hot glue gun
- Seashells
- Twine
Instructions
1. Thread floral wire through each flip-flop and twist the wire together along the underside of the flip-flops. Use a wire cutter to cut away any excess wire.
2. Repeat this process until all three pairs of flip-flops are attached to one another and form a circle.
3. Cut off sections of the faux flowers with wire cutters.
4. Attach the faux flowers onto the bottom portion of the wreath with hot glue.
5. Secure seashells onto the faux flowers at the bottom of the wreath using hot glue.
5. Cut off a section of twine and create a loop at the top of the wreath, securing with a knot. This will serve as a way to hang the wreath.
