- Sawhorses
- Aluminum straight edge
- Clamps
- Circular saw
- Electric sander
- Two colors of paint
- Paintbrush
- Geotextile fabric
- Staple gun
- Scissors

Instructions
1. Set the pallet on the sawhorses, place an aluminum straight edge down the middle and clamp it on both ends.
2. Cut the pallet in half lengthwise by cutting along the aluminum straight edge with a circular saw.
3. Cut the pallet in half crosswise so you have a piece roughly the same size as the one shown in the video.
4. Sand the pallet piece to remove any wood splinters.
5. Apply a light coat of paint to the pallet, choosing a contrasting color for the boards in front.
6. Staple a piece of geotextile fabric to the bottom of the top slat. Trim off any excess fabric and repeat for the bottom slat.
7. Allow the paint to dry.
8. Fill both planters with potting soil, plant succulents or your favorite flowers.
