How to make a tray with a photo frame

Serving trays are useful for everything from serving patio drinks to bringing kids a snack while they're playing, but it can be hard to find a tray that you love. If that's the case for you, why not make your own?
It's a lot easier than it might seem — all you need is a photo frame, some pretty wallpaper, and a couple of drawer handles! Want to know more? Check out the video tutorial and the instructions below.

Materials
- Photo frame
- Precision knife
- Screwdriver
- Clamps
- Drawer handles
- Pencil
- Electric drill
- Self-stick wallpaper
- Permanent marker
- Scissors
Instructions
1. Remove the glass, the artwork, and the backing from the photo frame and set aside. Use the precision knife to trim off a thin strip of backing around the inner edge of the photo frame as well.
2. Take off the hook from the back of the frame, using a screwdriver if necessary.
3. Clamp the frame to the work surface and pencil in the spots where you'd like to attach the drawer handles.
4. Drill holes where you want to attach the handles, and screw both handles on.
5. Remove the stand from the photo frame backing and place the backing onto a sheet of wallpaper. Trace the outline and cut it out with scissors.
6. Carefully attach the wallpaper to the inside of the photo frame backing.
7. Put the glass and the backing back into the photo frame, and secure them using the hardware that came with the frame.
