How to make a floating luminary with a pool noodle

A nice, relaxing bath is the perfect way to end a stressful day, especially when you have bath salts and candles to make it an extra-special experience. These gorgeous floating luminaries are just what you need to elevate your next bath from good to amazing.
If you don't have a bathtub, you could also put these in a pool, in a hot tub or even in a bowl of water on the coffee table. Watch the video tutorial and check out the instructions below if you want to learn how to make your own. Choose a different color if white is not your style.

Materials
- Pool noodle
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Precision knife
- LED candles
- Permanent marker
- Metallic acrylic paint
Instructions
1. Cut the pool noodle into 2-inch pieces using the precision knife and the ruler.
2. Place the LED candle on the top of the pool noodle piece and trace around the base with a permanent marker.
3. Cut around this outline with the precision knife (do not cut all the way to the bottom) and use your fingers to remove enough of the foam to hold the LED candle.
4. Dip the top half of the pool noodle piece into the metallic acrylic paint.
5. When the paint has dried, nestle the candle into the hole.
