How to make a cardboard pinboard

A gorgeous pinboard makes a wonderful addition to any home office space, especially if you're the kind of person who loves to keep things organized. There's nothing better than having a convenient place to stick memos, business cards and notes.

- Cardboard
- Cork
- Hot glue gun
- Fabric

Instructions
1. Cut two equal-sized pieces of cardboard and cork, and hot glue them together.
2. Cut a piece of fabric slightly larger than the corkboard; you need enough fabric to fold over the edges.
3. Cover the cork with the fabric and place it on your work surface with the fabric side facing down. Working one side at a time, fold the fabric over the edge of the board and hot glue it into place. Pull the fabric tight to eliminate any wrinkles.
4. Cut two pieces of ribbon long enough to wrap diagonally around two corners of the board. Hot glue the ribbon into place on the back of the board. Cut off any excess if necessary.
5. Cut a length of string long enough to hang the pinboard on the wall. Tie a knot in each end and attach the ends of the string to the top edge of the pinboard with thumbtacks.
