How to make a lace necklace

A statement necklace is an easy way to turn an average outfit into a fabulous one. These large necklaces, however, can be quite heavy, making for an uncomfortable day. With this DIY project, you get all the glam from a large necklace without the tugging.
Paired with some pearl beads and pink cord, this piece of jewelry is ultra feminine and pretty. Check the instructions and video to see how you can use doilies to dress up a go-to T-shirt and jeans. Don't forget to form the doilies into an asymmetrical shape as it gives the necklace the right amount of edge so it doesn't look too cutesy.
