Coat mason jar with Mod Podge & make stunning new decor

Mason jars work well candle holders even if you don't add anything else to them, but do you ever wonder how you could make them even better? Wrapping them in a piece of a pretty bandana is an easy and elegant solution.
The candlelight looks so pretty when it shines through the fabric, and you can choose any pattern you like. Check out the instructions and the video tutorial to find out how to make your own.

Materials
- Mason jar attached to piece of wood with hose clamp
- Screwdriver
- Bandana
- Chalk
- Quilting ruler
- Scissors
- Cardboard
- Mod Podge
- Paintbrush
- Wire
- Hot-glue gun
- LED candle
Instructions
1. Use a screwdriver to loosen the hose clamp and slip out the mason jar.

2. Place the mason jar on the unfolded bandana and make chalk dots to mark its height and width.

Use a quilting ruler to connect the dots with straight lines and cut out this piece of fabric.

Use scissors to make straight cuts.

3. Put a piece of cardboard on the work surface to protect it.

Use a paintbrush to cover the outside of the jar with a layer of Mod Podge.

4. Press the fabric onto the outside of the jar, smoothing it out so there are no wrinkles.

5. Paint another layer of Mod Podge onto the fabric.

6. When the Mod Podge has dried, place the jar back into the hose clamp and use the screwdriver to tighten it.

7. Bend a piece of wire so that it will wrap around the bottom of the jar and hot glue it into place on the jar.

Place an LED candle in the jar.
