This paper pumpkin project is so easy, and you'll have a ton of fun making it. You'll probably want to make a few – they'd look good in so many different places around the house. Check out the instructions and the video tutorial to learn more about making this whimsical fall decoration.
- Paper
- Paperclips
- Permanent marker
- Scissors
- Hole punch
- String
- Floral wire
- Needle-nose pliers
- Hot-glue gun
1. Secure several pieces of paper together with paperclips and draw an oval with one flat end on the top sheet. Cut out this shape and repeat until you have a good number of paper ovals.
2. Punch three holes along the flat end of each oval.
3. Place all the pieces together and tie a piece of string through each hole. Trim off any excess string.
4. Fan out the pieces of paper into a pumpkin shape that can stand on its own.
5. Cut a piece of floral wire long enough to be the stem of the pumpkin. Twirl the end of the wire into a few spirals with needle-nose pliers.
6. Place a dot of hot glue on the bottom of the wire and push it into the center of the pumpkin.

Rustic chic home decor is just about everywhere you look these days. And why not? It's easy to put together, and the materials are pretty much free.
