How to make tie-dye socks

People usually don't put a lot of thought into their socks. You're not alone if your sock drawer is full of nothing but boring white or black socks! Luckily, it's incredibly easy to update your sock selection to include some more colorful options.

Materials
- White socks
- Elastic bands
- Sheet of plastic
- Squeeze bottles
- Water
- Dye
- Disposable gloves

Instructions
1. Use rubber bands to tie off sections in the socks.
2. Place the socks onto a sheet of plastic to protect your work surface.
3. Mix as many colors of dye as you'd like to use in the squeeze bottles, following the manufacturer's instructions to do so.
4. Cover the socks with dye, working in sections.
5. Rinse the socks according to the dye manufacturer's instructions, and then remove the elastics.
