Instructions
1. Separate out the parts of the mason jar lid. You will only be using the outer rim with an open center.
2. Wrap one end of the natural twine around the edge of the lid. Leave several inches hanging as you first wrap it around for a more secure wrap.
3. Wrap the twine around the entire lid in short vertical rows that are right next to one another. You're doing basic yarn wrapping to completely cover the silver cover of the lid.
4. Use hot glue to secure the end of the natural twine to the inside of the mason jar lid.
5. Use scissors to snip off the extra ends of natural twine at both the beginning and end of the wrapped lid.
6. Cut 5" of red twine.
7. Fold red twine in half.
8. Tie the open ends of the twine in a single knot.
9. Wrap the red twine around the lid, pulling the knot through the loop at top to secure it. This is now the top of your wreath ornament; the red twine loop will hang from the Christmas tree.
10. Use hot glue to adhere one green leaf to the top of the wreath. Place its wide end on the right side of the red twine loop, positioning it so that it points diagonally down in the same direction as the wreath.
