Instructions
1. Empty a bag of artificial maple leaves in a small bowl.
2. Punch a hole in the bottom center of each leaf; set leaves aside.
3. Unravel approximately 10 to 12 inches of marigold twine from the roll. Do not cut it.
4. Slip the free end of the twine through a hole in a leaf, then slide the twine through the loop of a key charm.
5. Tie the charm to the twine, securing both the leaf and charm.
6. Use scissors to cut anywhere from 8 to 12 inches of marigold twine from the roll.
8. Measure approximately 2 to 3 inches above the charm and leaf secured in step 5, then tie a knot in the twine.
9. Guide the twine through a leaf, then add a barrel charm. Tie a knot to secure the barrel charm to the leaf.
10. Tie the twine to one of the twigs on the branch. The charms act as weights, allowing the leaves to dangle freely from taut twine.
11. Unravel a new piece of marigold twine from the roll and repeat the previous steps for each twig on the branch. Cut some lengths of twine closer to 8 inches, while cutting others closer to 12.
12. Turn on the hot-glue gun and prepare to hang the mobile.
13. Squeeze a small amount of glue on the base of the branch. Place the free end of the bakers twine on the hot glue, then wrap the base of the branch in the bakers twine.
14. Squeeze a small amount of glue at the top of the branch when finished wrapping it with twine. Secure the twine to the glue, then cut the free end of the twine.
