Tulle and lace are not just for ballerinas. Different fabrics can create gauzy, almost gossamer looks in photographs. Experiment with more than one color of tulle or netting as each will lend a different look to the picture.
When using lace, choose more than one pattern and texture to determine which best fits the subject matter. Also take into account the lace's color, as not all lace is white. For example, a light pink lace will add a hint of color to an otherwise monochromatic snow scene.

Instructions
1. Wrap some tulle around the camera lens, with 2 inches protruding from the front of the lens. Tie a rubber band around the tulle to keep it in place around the lens.

4. Choose a textured or patterned piece of lace and dangle it in front of the lens. You may cover the whole lens or do a partial shot. Focus past the lace. Take the shot.
