How to make tissue paper pineapples

A few sheets of tissue paper can become a work of art when they are in the right hands. Those hands can be yours with the aid of this tutorial. Implement a few simple steps, and you can be making these party decorations in no time.
What sets these apart from other designs is the ingenious use of two different shades of tissue paper. The darker bottom and lighter top make this pineapple look just like ripe fruit.

Instructions
1. Fold yellow tissue paper in half. Cut along the fold.
2. Repeat Step 1 four more times. This will give you a stack of tissue paper; each piece is approximately 2 inches by 4 inches.
3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 with light orange tissue paper.
4. Crumple each piece of tissue paper. You can do this by pinching the paper in the center and crumpling it upward.
5. Place a dot of hot glue onto the styrofoam ball. Adhere a yellow crumpled tissue to the dot with the "pinched" part placed on the glue and the more open end pointing upward.
6. Repeat Step 5 until the top half of the styrofoam ball is covered with yellow tissue.
7. Repeat Step 5 using light orange tissue paper to cover the bottom of the styrofoam ball.
8. Cut out a pineapple top shape from the light green construction paper.
9. Adhere the light green pineapple top shape to the dark green paper with hot glue.
10. Cut around the shape so that the light green topper has a dark green border.
11. Adhere the pineapple topper to the top of the styrofoam ball with hot glue, nestled into the yellow crumples of paper.
