How to make napkin rings with PVC pipe

PVC piping is handy for more than just plumbing. One small piece of pipe turns into three cloth-napkin holders, which are customizable to match table settings and decor. Use any spray paint and twine color, such as silver paint with a green twisted twine.
When cutting the PVC pipe, make sure the clamp is tight on the worktable. Do not put your hands on the pipe to steady it; it's too small to keep the saw and your skin from accidentally touching. If a pipe cutter is not available, use a hacksaw. Do not use any saws for fine woodworking as they will not cut through easily, and the process may damage the saw. Spray paint in an area with good ventilation and wear a mask.

Instructions
1. Place the pipe lengthwise on the work surface. Measure 1 ½ inches in from the left and make a mark. Measure 1 ½ inches in from the first mark and make a second mark.
2. (Not shown) Clamp the pipe to a workbench and use a hacksaw or pipe cutter to cut through the pipe at the two marks.
3. Place the pieces apart from one another with the openings face up on a large piece of cardboard. Spray paint the pieces, letting them dry before flipping them and spray painting the bottoms.
4. Cut off a piece of twine slightly longer than the outer circumference of one piece. Hot glue the twine around the outer center of the circumference. Trim the excess. Repeat for the other two pieces.
5. Apply a dab of glue where the two ends of the twine meet. Press one of the cotton flower heads onto the glue and let it dry.
6. Fold and smooth out a cloth napkin. Roll it up lengthwise and insert it in a pipe piece. Repeat for the other two pieces.
