How to make a centerpiece with pine cones

Have a table that needs a little dressing up? This centerpiece project is perfect for adding some color and a touch of nature to any room. The centerpiece's size is variable. Make it as small or large as you want—the only difference is the length of the garland and how many pine cones and berries you add to it.
Berries and pine cones are a traditional combination, but feel free to use something else to accompany the pine cones. For example, add red or white flower blossoms, or weave a colorful ribbon through the garland.

Instructions
1. Bring together the ends of the vine with leaves to form a circle, overlapping the ends by a few inches.
2. Cut off 6 inches of floral wire. Form a “U” shape with the cut wire. Hook it around where the vine ends overlap. Twist the wire together for ½ inch, like a twist tie on bread packaging. Trim the excess wire. Press the wire flat against the garland.
3. Slide each berry sprig into the garland at equal distances from one another. Twist the stems around the garland.
4. Cut off eight 6-inch-long wire stems from artificial flowers. Gently poke one stem into the base of a pine cone, approximately 1 inch deep. Repeat for each of the eight pine cones.
5. Slide a pine cone stem into the garland between two berry sprigs until the pine cone is flush with the garland. Twist the stem to attach the pine cone. Repeat for the remaining pine cones.
