How to make a tulle sachet

Tulle is the perfect material from which to make a sachet, as it has holes to allow the scent to escape the bag. This tutorial uses purple tulle, but you may use any color you desire. You also may use smaller stitching if you don't want a blanket stitch.
Lavender is nice complement to a purple sachet, but any small, fragrant dried flower or herb works. Try dried and crushed rose petals or cinnamon stick pieces. Place the sachet in the bathroom, the kitchen or a dresser drawer corner.

Instructions
1. Cut off two 8-inch lengths of the tulle. Smooth them out, and line them up horizontally, one on top of the other.
2. Fold the two pieces in half like you would close a book. Line up the edges.
3. Fold up the bottom edges 1/4 inch, and pin in place. Fold in the right edges 1/4 inch, and pin in place.
4. Thread the needle. Use a blanket stitch to sew closed the pinned edges. Trim excess thread, and turn the sachet inside out.
5. Pour dried lavender into the bag. Tie closed the sachet with the ribbon, making a bow at the front.
